We meet once again! This time at Wolt’s offices in Berlin for a great night of talks and networking. Gabriela Ospina, Senior Product Designer at Wolt will guide us through Object Oriented UX, a principal they use at her company to understand meaningful design change.
About the Talk
Tackling complex user experiences is hard. If you don’t have a clear understanding of all the pieces of the puzzle, you might run the risk of questions and relationships surfacing when it’s too late in the game.
The double diamond design model doesn’t give designers a clear path to transition from problem to definition. There are still a lot of questions we should get answers to before jumping into ideating solutions. Understanding the problem is often not enough — having a better understanding of the tools and relationships in your system will allow for a clearer path to solutions.
In this talk, you’ll learn the basic principles of Object Oriented UX (OOUX) and how this method can help you make a more lasting and meaningful design change. It’ll help you create a common understanding between stakeholders, foster better collaboration, and reduce headaches for yourself and your users.
You’ll also get introduced to the ORCA process—Objects, Relationships, Calls-to-Action, and Attributes — and see how getting clarity on these UX pillars can give you a straightforward path to naturally intuitive product design.
